Thousands of young people from Navarre have gone through the European Student and Employment Exhibition in Baluarte

The organizers qualify as “satisfactory and positive” This edition that has allowed more than three thousand students to face their future work or academic.

The European student and Employment Hall, held at the Baluarte Conference Centre in Pamplona during two days, has been a great success due to the numerous influx of public, mainly high school students and vocational training.

Between Thursday and Friday have been thousands of young people who have visited the training fair, which has been given a wide range of educational offerings from universities, business and language schools, training centers, vocational education, non-regulated training and Institutions. All of them have gathered with the intention of offering information about the different options of university and professional future existing at national and international level.

The organized visits of high schools and institutes of Baccalaureate, ESO and FP have added more than 3,000 visitors. In this way, young people have been able to learn about a representation of the current offer and the work outs within the variety of training itineraries.

The stands of the three universities Navarras (UPNA, University of Navarra and UNED Pamplona) has been some of the most requested to solve doubts to students on different qualifications. For its part, in the position of FP of the Government of Navarre, applications have focused on information in search of studies with a view to successful professional outings.

Also the spaces destined to the fashion, as well as the one of IES Lumbier with its space of kitchen, have enjoyed great acceptance among the public student. Likewise, the languages have also aroused interest in promoting the mobility of students and their learning to broaden the training and to go with more guarantees to the processes of selection of the companies.

The main course of the day of Friday was the celebration of various informative talks aimed at students, who have had great interactivity with the speakers. Conferences focused on “speaking in public with fluency and conviction”, a talk in charge of the Human resources department Coca Cola on “The talent” or a meeting with Esther Monterrubio, director of the FP service of the government of Navarra.

The accessibility and the connection between students and the various stands have been the general trend of the hall, which has had a great influx of young students, as well as parents and counsellors of the educational centers.

The assessment of the organizers is “totally satisfactory and positive”, especially valuing that the majority of the demand has been given in terms of information and advice raised by young people.
