Nearly 80 companies participate in the seventh edition of the USJ Connecta employability day

Nearly 80 companies attended the San Jorge University today to participate in the seventh edition of USJ Connecta, a meeting event between the university and companies in which students and graduates of the USJ have had the opportunity to demonstrate their talent to make the leap to the world of work.

After the presentation of the companies in the magnificent classrooms of the faculties and schools, the reporter, presenter and monologuista Enric Company has been in charge of giving the inaugural lecture “If you want, you can. The recipe to get what you propose “. He said that the ingredients necessary to succeed are “want to do it, improve attitude, risk and make equipment” and has assured that “profiles of proactive people who risk and leave the comfort zone are necessary”.

He has also emphasized the importance of creating a team, because “the existence of others and support in them will make us better and stronger” and has declared that “now we must propose to stand out because we wait to be told what we have to do is expired. “

Subsequently, the Company-University activities were carried out, in which representatives of entities and students have had the opportunity to discuss and share impressions on their sectors. The degrees in Architecture, Pharmacy, Engineering and Videogames, Sciences of Physical Activity and Sports and the area of ​​Communication have developed talks to discuss the current labor market. The degree in Business Administration and Management has organized the contest USJ Emprende, in which students have presented business ideas to the companies attending, and the degree in Law has conducted a Debate Tournament, where students have competed in argumentation on current issues. In addition, the students of the degrees in Education have presented their projects and applications through the format elevator pitch.

To end the day, in the hall of the faculties, companies have received in their stands students and graduates interested in conducting interviews and delivering resumes.
