The annual survey of the USJ to know the situation of its students twelve months after graduation reflects that eight out of ten would return to the same degree and 90% would recommend the USJ
The annual survey carried out by the Professional Orientation and Employment service of the San Jorge University to know the situation of its students twelve months after finishing their studies reflects that 85% of graduates of the 2018 promotion are currently working, being a 90% who perform university-level tasks and specific to the degree they studied.
The data show one more year the high employability rate of the students of the USJ, who have, during their years of study, numerous activities to favor their labor insertion, such as the USJ Connecta day, in which dozens of companies at the university to receive curricula and conduct interviews, and the USJ Connecta Talent program, which includes a series of workshops with executives and professionals from leading companies in Aragon.
It is noteworthy that six out of ten students of the 2018 promotion are already working full time and almost three out of ten do so with an indefinite contract. In addition, 80% took less than three months to find employment and 84% show a high degree of satisfaction with their current job.
Students show an attitude of improvement, since four out of ten say they continue to look for a job because, despite working, they want to promote professionally or improve their salary and 74% are convinced that they will progress in their work.
Continuous training
Training after graduation is a trend present in most of the graduates, since 90% have continued their studies, half of them having completed university training, the majority (59%), postgraduate studies of specialization in the same area of knowledge.
Among those who studied non-university training, the short-term specialization courses, followed by language training and the preparation of official exams or exams, stand out.
Satisfaction with the USJ
Graduates of the 2018 promotion show a high degree of satisfaction with their university studies, with 80% who qualify between four and five on a scale of one to five. Also, eight out of ten would return to the same degree and nine out of ten would recommend the USJ to a family member or close friend.
This data is repeated again for another year, since the 2017 promotion, which was surveyed last year, also mostly stated that it would return to the same studies (90%) and recommend the university (91%).
