Mondragon University and LABORAL Kutxa have signed an agreement to train and attract young talents.
Mondragon University and LABORAL Kutxa have signed a collaboration agreement to attract young talent, improve their employability and promote entrepreneurial skills. As a result of the agreement, the financial institution will launch spaces called LABORAL Kutxa Ikasgela in the facilities of Mondragon University. One classroom will be in Bilbao, and the other in Arrasat, in which students will develop projects in the fields of data technology, data analysis, technological development and consumer finance, among others. The agreement is part of the framework agreement signed in 2021 by the two organizations to cooperate in the fields of innovation, entrepreneurship and talent.
The following have signed the agreement: Carlos García, the main coordinator of the Mondragon University Polytechnic High School; Lander Beloki, dean of the Business Faculty of Mondragon University, and Nuria Agirrek, Director of Social Management at LABORAL Kutxa.
- Technological development and data analysis projects
In the first year, the engineering students of the LABORAL Kutxa Ikasgela in Arrasate will develop solutions in the fields of data technology, technological development and treasury. On the other hand, the students of the Faculty of Business who enter the LABORAL Kutxa Classroom of the Bilbao AS Fabrik campus will develop projects in the fields of data analysis and consumer finance.
It is very important for LABORAL Kutxa to attract young talents who are able to integrate into the entity. Therefore, it will promote external academic practices (among others, study and work rotation, graduation theses and master’s theses), so that students can apply and complement what they have learned in their academic training, and acquire the necessary skills to prepare for professional activity, employability to improve and promote entrepreneurship.
The agreement consolidates the cooperation between the two organizations that has been started for a few years now to encourage and develop innovation, entrepreneurship, talent and other areas.
