Within the framework of its project to promote and develop entrepreneurial skills in circular economy GREEN ENTREPRENEURIAL SCHOOLS, Calasanz Lanbide Ikastegia is taking part in an ambitious innovation project with other centers and specialized companies to promote among students skills to support the Circular Economy. It is clear that in the face of the global problem posed by climate change, a change of mentality is necessary at all social levels, from business, politics and society. That is only possible from education and with a long waiting time to consolidate a new global mentality. Definitely the only solution.
The partners of the C.E.S.A.R. (Circular Economy Skills Awareness Raising) project, including the Santurtzi center, are looking for the creation of a series of educational materials available to European teachers and students that together with certain methodologies of application can be useful to as many recipients as possible. Much of the success of ERASMUS+ research programmes between schools lies in the ultimate usefulness of their work.
Partners with extensive experience in international programs
The promoters of this project are the specialized company Mínimo Cuadrados and in addition to Calasanz Santurtzi, the powerful IB International Bund centers from Germany, Axxell from Finland, AEVA from Portugal, TUCEP from Italy and Education and Mobility directed by the international expert Iker Orueta, from Bilbao, participate.
At the moment the project has been born with force and in Calasanz its marketing and advertising students have been in charge of designing the logo of this two-year international project with success and satisfaction for the participating centers. The entire website and social networks of the project are also operational for anyone interested in the circular economy and in collaborating in the project as far as possible. Precisely its openness and vocation for collaboration is one of its characteristics.
Participation in Tknika International Congress
Tknika, as a centre for VET innovation in the Basque Government, supports and promotes all European educational collaborations, projects and associations that can add value to our Basque Vocational Training. It is one of his great contributions that has already given, gives and will bear good fruit. In this vocation of support, on April 22 it organized a virtual event broadcast throughout Europe in which the different Erasmus+ projects of the Basque VET centers were disseminated in a live digital seminar. Calasanz Santurtzi actively participated in this prestigious event and Rafa Balparda, its international manager, shared the basic axes of the C.E.S.A.R. project with the European educational community.
In addition, and it is a great achievement, C.E.S.A.R. has been published in the ERASMUS+ ININOVATION PROJECTS guide that Tknika prepares annually and that serves as a showcase and attraction of more projects for the center, always interesting to be in those publications. They are the “Michelin Guide” of the projects of the centers and of obligatory consultation for European centers when looking for partners.
This project has a duration of two years, has just begun and in the face of global mobility difficulties, with online meetings by all partners.
