This necklace has a built-in battery that can charge your Apple headphones multiple times on a single charge. And the best of all is that while you use it you don’t have to put it in its box.
If crowdfunding platforms have given us something good, it has undoubtedly been the incredible creativity and freedom that manufacturers show when creating new devices. Gadgets that would not have seen the light of day without the three platforms due to the special interests of many manufacturers. In fact, manufacturers can sometimes, due to unclear interests, limit their innovation. And this is a perfect example. As an AirPods accessory, it allows us to charge freely while listening.
A stylish accessory called AirCord
This device has just arrived on Indiegogo, one of the most important Crowdfunding platforms, and now offers us the opportunity to get a device capable of charging our AirPods even if they are not in their box. If Apple headphones were appreciated for anything from the beginning, it was because of the ease of charging them with a case with a built-in battery. But sometimes that system fails if we want to continue using them while they charge.
That’s why AirCord exists precisely so that we can continue using these headphones as long as we use them. It means that we can do sports with them, once the battery runs out, and basically charge them with an accessory such as a traditional neck headphone cable. It is a kind of neck strap that already integrates a battery inside, capable of charging our AirPods several times.
It is compatible with first, second and third generation AirPods; so there will be no compatibility problems. The way to follow them is very simple. And you only need to touch the bottom end of the stem of these headphones to attach them magnetically. When this happens, the earbuds start charging as if they were inside the charging case.
Once connected, AirPods can be fully charged in 10 minutes for the first and second generation, and in 12 minutes for the third generation. And not only that: with the battery capable of storing the AirCord, we could charge the headphones five times with a single charge of this accessory. It is then a necklace with a built-in battery that allows you to charge the AirPods while listening to them.
The necklace itself is made of liquid silicone and the charging cable is 20 cm. Inside, the battery has a capacity of 200 mAh and is so light that you won’t even notice you’re wearing it while it’s charging. And the best of all is that we find it to be a really accessible accessory.
The starting price is 35 euros for a package of two units. If we want one, we can buy it for 26 euros. They have suffered a slight delay and will begin delivering in September, instead of the initial month of August.
Denone has presented an alternative to Airpods with two new headphones
When we talk about high quality sound, we have Samsung, Apple or Sony, and when we talk about high quality and high fidelity sound, which goes far beyond the standard, we have manufacturers like Marantz or Denon, because for years they have been the maximum first level sound gauge. This time, the latter, Denon, has launched to the general public the most interesting headphones it has previously marketed.
Beyond those products for purists that are usually far beyond the purchasing power of mere mortals. We are talking about the new PerL and PerL Pro, which bring us all the quality of Denon in a format that is the perfect alternative to AirPods and all their competition.
Maximum customization and intelligence
This is how we can define these new headphones. And according to their creators, these headphones are characterized by offering a unique sound to each user, since they automatically adapt to the user’s physiognomy. Headphones with a design worthy of the brand’s prestige, with minimalist and simple lines that provide a lot of style and elegance.
They are characterized by providing quality sound, above the usual. Similar to what a CD offers us, as you know, higher quality than Mp3 and close to what is understood today as Hi-Fi, well, great sound. They come with spatial sound, or at least surround sound technology similar to other manufacturers, which completely immerses us in richer music, where we are always located in the center of a three-dimensional space.
The two new models launched now feature active noise cancellation. Additionally, they have a unique way of listening to what anyone around us has to say, or simply listening to the sounds around us, on the street or in an enclosed public space. The Pro model in this case has eight microphones to capture ambient sound, twice as many as the standard model.
