The journalist Marta Robles has given a writing workshop today to the students of the qualifications of the area of ​​Communication of the University San Jorge in a conference presented by the journalist and writer Juan Bolea in which the dean of the Faculty of Communication and Social Sciences, Javier Hernández, and the director of the degree in Journalism, Jorge Miguel Rodríguez. The activity was framed within the Festival Aragón Negro, held in January and which gave the writer the Special Prize “The Best of Ours”.

During the talk, Marta Robles has reflected on journalism and said that being a journalist “is not writing well or telling stories, but willing to change the world and face power.”

He has also dealt with the way journalists face the writing of a novel. “It’s a challenge for us not to tell everything at once. First you have to think a lot, document, determine the structure and then be clear that everything you know you will not be able to tell directly, “he explained.

About the writing of books has affirmed that “writing a bad novel is very difficult and a good, almost a miracle” and has pointed out that it is not just about “telling a story with beginning, middle and end”.

Finally, he encouraged students to face “with the same desire and enthusiasm all tasks regardless of their relevance” because “success is just the other side of failure” and in journalism “life goes around a lot”.
