Pamplona. A total of 76 exhibitors from universities, FP’s and companies will participate on Thursday and Friday at the European Student and Employment Exhibition, the “most important” training event in Navarre aimed at students, parents and mothers, teachers, Guidance and unemployed in search of complementary training.
This event, organized by Navarprensa and university Vasco Navarro, this year celebrates its tenth first edition and represents “the biggest showcase of training” in the community foral.
Its main objective is to “show students the educational offer they have at their fingertips, vocational and university training, as well as orient them towards local employment, expose job opportunities and become aware of the entrepreneurship to be Competitive and know how to cope. ”

At the moment, it is confirmed the scheduled attendance of more than 3,000 students of high school, ESO and FP, who will visit the booths in an organized visit. They will be added to all the people who want to attend in the two days that the appointment is held to receive advice, academic and professional orientation. Last year 14,000 visitors were registered in the two days.
The organizers of the European Student and Employment Exhibition have shown that “undoubtedly” youth unemployment is “a major concern for society in general.” In fact, they have remarked, “The unemployment of young people under 25 years has increased in February in 5,029 people, 1.70%, compared to the previous month.” On the other hand, the number of contracts registered during the month of February has amounted to 5.4% over the same month of the year 2016.
“The current labour market is becoming more competitive, flexible and segmented for the youth of Navarre and, therefore, young people are obliged to develop different strategies to adapt to this situation”, the organizers stressed, to Who “These are more than enough reasons to bet on training”. Exhibitors and innovations

As a novelty, highlights the presence of six public universities in Madrid: University of Alcalá, Autonomous University of Madrid, Complutense University of Madrid, Polytechnic of Madrid and university Rey Juan Carlos, as well as guidance of the center of Information and university advice of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the community of Madrid.

Talent Awards
On the other hand, this Thursday, March 16th, in the framework of the celebration of the salon, will be held the IV edition of the Talent Awards, which recognise the work of the young students and reward their effort, dedication and work during the academic year.
The student will be awarded the best high school record, of FP (middle and upper grade), the student who obtained better note in selectivity, as well as the best academic record of the public University of Navarra, the University of Navarra and the UNED of Pamplona . The Lacturale company will also be rewarded for its “commitment to society, nature and the environment”.
