If every time Vocational Training is an option more demanded by students and with a high rate of rapid placement in the labor market, we continue to improve and the new specialization courses in Vocational Training are already published in the BOE. Just as students who leave the university have the option of specializing through a master’s degree, from this year, those who finish a Higher Degree in Vocational Training, will have the option of specializing and expanding their knowledge in the area studied with the difference that these courses are free.

The specialization courses are intended for people who have obtained a Vocational Training degree and wish to expand and adapt their professional skills to a constantly evolving labor market. Its main objective is to allow graduates in Vocational Training to adapt to the new demands of the different productive sectors.

In principle, these are the new specialization courses that will be taught in the Basque Country:

    IES Zubiri Mateo
    IES UNI Eibar-Ermua
  • Cybersecurity in Operating Technology Environments:
    CIFP Andra Mari
    CIFP Easo
  • Smart Manufacturing:
    CIFP Miguel Altuna
    IES Laudioalde

The course of “Specialization in maintenance of hybrid and electric vehicles”, will be taught in 4 centers while the rest, only in two so it is remarkable that this sector is booming and has a great demand in Basque Vocational Training.

So if our students were already prepared in both theoretical and practical knowledge in the chosen area, now they can take a turn of the screw, perfecting their skills with which both students and the Basque labor market will benefit.
